OUR HISTORY
The founder and Director of Psychology for Living Well, Wendy Arnold, began her career in 2001 in Townsville, North Queensland. She worked as a psychologist in government and non-government organisations until branching into private practice in 2009. She obtained qualifications as an EMDR practitioner in 2009, clinical hypnotherapist in 2011. The impetus for gathering such diverse therapies was the consequence of modern psychology’s greater understanding of the brain and how it processes emotional and cognitive information related to trauma and motivation. The utilisation of many different therapies are helpful to obtain the best outcomes for you. We can offer you a choice on which therapy you prefer to keep our client-centred approach and tailor psychological therapy to your individual treatment plan.
